Dear Families,

         Last week, we celebrated Earth Day by reading stories and participating in activities that taught about conservation and recycling. We also decorated our door using recycled paper products and won a prize in the Door Decorating Contest!

         The class took a math test last week. I am extremely pleased with the progress your children have made with regrouping. We will review money this week and take a test on Friday.

         We have been learning about life cycles, living and non-living beings, animal adaptations, and other life science concepts. We will discuss the food chain this week and have a life science test on Wednesday.
